Welcome to Johnson Country Cockers.
My name is Jane Johnson. I've been married to the love of my life for 27 years and we have 2 grown children. Our son has a degree in architecture and drafting. He is currently building houses and does retaining walls and paver sidewalks. I keep him busy around the house and he has done a wonderful job. We adopted our daughter from Romania as a 17 month old baby. She is currently seeking a career in police work. Believe me..she can make your hair stand on end when she belts out an order! We are just finding out what it's like with the kids gone and out of the house. I have to say...it is pretty quiet around here.

We live in Minnesota on 17 acres surrounded by beautiful trees and plenty of country fresh air. My husband and I were raised on a farm so
we know the meaning of hard work and the rewards of country living. I milked cows until I left home. Riding tractors and doing
field work was all part of my life. Being raised on the farm brought the knowledge and love of animals. I was in 4-H and raised
and showed chickens, horses and rabbits. I did very well and received Grand Champion in many events. This produced the
knowledge and eye for show quailty that I have today and the meaning of excellent care given to your animal.
With this knowledge I have learned how to operate and maintain a beautiful kennel and dog breeding facility.
I learned from my parants at an early age how to run a business and what it means to correctly care for an animals well being.
I have been breeding quailty AKC Cocker Spaniel puppies for 17 years. My kennel is inspected on a regular basis by AKC and the Humane Society. AKC enjoys visiting because my paperwork is always in order and the kennel clean and organized.
DNA testing have always come back correct. That's a must or you loose AKC privileges and can't register your stock.
Because of tendinites in my arms my dogs are not kept in a full Cocker coat. Even with the short cut you can see the beauty
and expression in each one. They are very sweet, smart and loving. They all have excellent pedigrees and range in size from
18-25 pounds. I am very selective in my breeding program and I hope you can see the hard work and dedication I put into my
dogs. I have 5 generations here that I have bred and raised knowing the health behind them. I enjoy what I do
and I strive for the best all around puppy possible. I love spending time with them and enjoy the company they
provide. My website is full of pictures and tons of information. Please spend some time reading and enjoying
what I have out there. I enjoy dolling up my babies and spending time taking cute pictures.
I receive many nice e-mails like this one...Hello Jane. I have been following your website and doing research
on cocker breeders all over the U.S. for sometime now, and am quite impressed with what I read and see
on your website. I'm interested in a Cocker puppy and look forward to hearing from you. Heidi
